Roadshow Offers and Voucher Platform

Confidentiality note: Independent prototype; event and partner names shown in demos are fictitious.

Designed demonstration interface — not a screenshot of a client system.

The challenge

Employee roadshows and partner-offer events run on printed vouchers and manual redemption lists — hard to distribute, easy to duplicate, impossible to measure.

Users and stakeholders

  • Event organizers
  • Employees / attendees
  • Partner vendors at booths
  • HR / engagement teams

Solution approach

Three thin interfaces over one source of truth: an organizer console, a mobile-first attendee wallet, and a booth redemption screen designed for one-tap validation under queue pressure.

Main workflows

  • Organizer creates event and publishes offers
  • Employee browses offers and claims vouchers
  • Partner scans/enters code and redeems in one tap
  • Organizer watches live uptake per offer

Capabilities

Offer catalog by eventUnique single-use voucher codesInstant redemption validationLive redemption counters for organizersBilingual employee-facing UI

Technology approach

Next.js web application with server-validated single-use codes and a lightweight relational store; no app-store installation required.

Delivery methodology

Prototype validated end-to-end → event pilot → hardening for concurrent redemption.

Risks and considerations

  • Venue connectivity can be unreliable — redemption needs a degraded mode
  • Duplicate-redemption attempts require server-side idempotency
  • Peak load is bursty around prize offers

Intended outcomes

  • Prototype capability: full claim-to-redeem cycle demonstrated
  • Expected value: measurable offer uptake per event
  • Intended outcome: elimination of printed voucher fraud

Potential next steps

  • QR-based redemption
  • Offline-tolerant booth mode
  • Post-event analytics export
